The Retro Christmas Card Company is so pleased and proud that Cobble Hill has licensed many of Diane Dempsey’s illustrations for a whole collection of jigsaw puzzles.
Our licensing relationship began back in 2020 when Covid had the whole world locked down and looking for a stay at home, pass the time hobby. We’re still going strong with our friends and partners at Cobble Hill Puzzles, adding a few more designs each year.
Each puzzle begins life as a Retro Christmas Card selected by Allegra Vernon, Cobble Hill Art Director. Then, with the coaching of this expert “Jigsaw Puzzle Art Director”, it becomes a full fledged puzzle. Many more details and elements are added into the original Christmas Card design to make a challenging image that will fill many fun puzzling hours.
Cobble Hill was founded in 2005 with a desire to bring quality puzzles manufactured in North America that inspire a loving, whimsical, nostalgic feeling to jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts, and novices. The company’s signature feature has always been its random cut die and quirky piece shapes. It’s also recognizable by its linen print texture not only on the puzzle, but on the box as well. Made with high quality blue board using recyclable materials, the puzzles have always been made with the environment in mind.
