Do you dream in retro?
Do visions of Sputniks dance in your head? We get you.
And like you, we love to celebrate this most wonderful time of year by decking every hall, shelf, tree and wall with all things mod and marvelous. But where to begin?
Start here! Take a look at our newest way to decorate your space using the Retro Christmas Card Co Bunting.
This fun + festive addition to our line features 15 of our all-time favorite Christmas card designs, foil stamped and printed in a larger art card format. Simply lace the cards together with the included silver cord and hang to create an eye-popping seven feet of Christmas cheer when laced edge-to-edge.
And the best part? As fabulous as the bunting is on its own, it’s also very customizable. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Make two or three smaller buntings or hang art cards separately if you’re short on space.
Add embellishments (think snowflakes and sparkles) to art cards and place one on each place setting for a cheerful conversation starter + party favor.
Swag with a mercury glass garland or lace with vintage ornaments. Old + New = Our favorite way to decorate!
Place your favorite art card in a large mason jar. Embellish with fairy lights and bottle brush trees, or sprinkle in ‘snow’ and an ornament or two. Line up multiple jars along a shelf or mantle for a very merry display.
Attach to pine or tinsel garland to frame a window, arch or doorway (we like the use of mini wooden clothes pins from the Dollar store). Sneak in a sprig of mistletoe to keep things interesting.
Punch up the pizazz on a plain gift bag by adding Scotch glitter tape, jingle bells and a hand-picked art card.
Secure rows of single cards to the wall to form a triangle – instant Christmas Tree!
Don’t forget the office. Your cubicle could use a little cheer this time of year.
Merry Maker Tip: If you are using each piece separately, lace a ribbon through the card for an easy and decorative way to address the cord holes.
Cheers! And may all your Christmases be RETRO!
