Naughty or Nice Nog

Free up time for guests by using ready-made nog. Be sure to spring for the good stuff…all eggnogs are not created equal.

8 oz of nog
1 shot of bourbon

Finish with a dollop of freshly whipped cream, a swirl of real maple syrup and a sprinkle of Ceylon cinnamon.  Nice!

Mistletoe Martini

Bond with your guests over this seasonal sensation.

8 oz cranberry juice chilled
8 oz vodka
Splash of lime to taste
Frozen cranberries

Combine cranberry juice, vodka and lime juice in a pitcher and mix well. Serve with a garnish of frozen cranberries

Getting Blitzen

We’re pretty sure the name says it all…

1 oz tequila
1 oz cranberry juice
½ oz triple sec
Orange slice 

Pour into lowball glass with ice, garnish with orange slice

Holly Jolly Highball

This refreshing drink makes for happy holiday guests.

2 oz aged rum
4 oz ginger ale
Lime wedges
Combine rum and ice in glass 
Top with ginger ale 

Add a squeeze of lime and a wedge for garnish 

Peppermint Punch

Delightful to look at and even sweeter to taste! This easy party drink is decadence in a glass.

1 quart eggnog
1 liter seltzer water
½ gallon peppermint ice cream
¾ cup peppermint schnapps 
Candy canes

Combine nog, seltzer and schnapps into punch bowl – Add ice cream – Sprinkle in crushed candy canes for garnish

(Omit the schnapps for family-friendly fun)

Jingle Juice 

Punch up the sparkle in your Tom & Jerry set with these festive flavors.

1 bottle Vanilla Vodka
1 bottle Sparkling Rose’
1 (2 liter) bottle Cranberry Soda chilled
Cranberries and mint leaves for garnish

Combine all ingredients in punch bowl and serve over ice

Add a squeeze of lime and a wedge for garnish

Sugar and Spice Pecans

The ultimate cocktail nosh. Makes a yummy take-home party favor, too.

3 cups whole pecans, shelled
¾ cup brown sugar
½ tsp fine sea salt 
1 Tbs Ceylon cinnamon
¼ cup water

Add ingredients to large skillet on medium-low. Stir continuously, coating pecans as sugar melts. Cook three to five minutes until lightly toasted. Cool on parchment-lined baking sheet. Store in air-tight container until ready to serve

Bourbon Balls  

The recipe for these no-bake beauties is a true 1954 classic. Just as crowd-pleasing today as they were then! 

3 cups vanilla wafers (about 1 pound), crushed
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup bourbon

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and shape into balls the size of a walnut. Roll in confectioners’ sugar. Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen balls.

 

Boozy Olives

Because sometimes the best part of a martini is at the bottom of the glass.

8 oz green olives, drained
1 cup gin
Splash of vermouth

Combine all ingredients and chill until served
